"It contains lead our blood stream. never does what it claims... i used it and no color, followed as described. it says you shouldn't shower more than once a week...it is a junk and should not be sold at all... trust me...someone should sue this company... thank you"

"The box said that it would get rid of gray in a month. I used Grecian for 2 months and still had grays. Maybe it darkened a few hairs here andthere, but the point is I still had grays when I wanted to get rid of them all. What is really ridiculous is that the directions tell you to try and not shampoomore than once a week. Who the hell only shampoos once a week?!! I'm trying Youthair now...hopefully that will be better."

"About two years ago I got tired of using a messy woman's hair coloring product every two weeks. I asked a friend what he used to color his hair. He told me about Grecian formula 16. I followed the instructions (except for "not washing your hair for a week") I am very pleased with this product. My hair is the same color it was before I started graying. I use it every 2nd or 3rd day to maintain my color."

"It has become increasingly more difficult to cover my grey hair with Grecian. Now I read that I am not the only consumer experiencing difficulties with this product. The bottle says it contains lead acetate but this stuff is much less efficient than it used to be. I thought that Grecian was becoming less effective on my hair due to the many years of its continued use or that my hair has grown too white to get covered but the reason might be the formula has changed. It is so weak that I am considering trying something else."
